I was asked by Global Credit Union to be their featured artist for the month of July, as a part of their Tiny Treasure project. I made and hid 5 prints, and posted clues on social media so people could find them.
Here’s a promotional video I put together to get the word out.
A logo created for PLC Labs — a company that creates programmable logic controllers that help different machines talk to each other. The two circles on top and bottom of the C are showing that PLC Labs is the bridge or connection in between two separate points.
Greedy Dungeon started as a game two friends and I made in 72 hours, as part of Ludum Dare 40. I created the characters, weapons, animations, and level textures, as well as the sound FX and music for the game. Jeff Daul did the dev work and brought the actual game to life. Joel Morrison created level assets, props, and some animation.
It placed 168th out of 1,040 compo submissions. Play it here!
If you've never heard of a game jam, it is an event where you have a limited amount of time to make a game, usually based on a theme revealed at the beginning of the event. Ludum Dare 40's theme was "The more have, the worse it gets."
Our original idea for the theme, put simply, was the more gold and loot you collect, the more the enemies in the dungeon want to kill you. Unfortunately that core mechanic didn't make it into our submission by the end of the jam, so we did not rank as high in that category as we would have liked. However people really seemed to love the look and atmosphere of the game, and even though our combat was a little flawed I think people could see the direction we are going with the game and what it could be with more time.
Jeff and I will still be working on the game in our free time. It's slow but hopefully steady progress can be found here. In the future, Greedy Dungeon will be a dungeon-crawling roguelike game (random level generation and item drops, permanent death resulting in having to start over) with loot/greed based difficulty and enemies. The more gold and valuables you try to complete the dungeon with, the harder the enemies will make it to do so.

Berserker's Brew is a package design produced while in the Spokane Falls Community College Graphic Design program.
I wanted the labels on the bottles to visually interact with the packaging. I had the idea for a fuzzy beer cozy, and thought it would be fun to have faces peeking out the top when the bottles are inserted. I chose my favorite legendary beard-havers, the vikings to support the concept.
The faces for the labels were sketched on paper, and I scanned the art and used it as a guide to create my vector images in Illustrator. The labels were then cut out of vinyl with a Cricut printer, and applied to the bottles.
Oakflesh Adventure Gear is a brand I produced for a personal project. It started as a logo, and from there I developed the mock ups for the mobile and desktop website. I utilized the mobile website in a user-interaction animation project while attending SFCC.
I took the name Oakflesh from a spell in the Elder Scrolls Series; I like that the name implies a tough protective skin and thought it would be perfect for a company that sells boots, bags, and other adventure gear. The logo is a dagger breaking above the name, implying protection from attacks and "whatever else is out there".
Haunted Apparel is a brand I produced for a personal project that started as this cute ghost that I made in Illustrator while playing with the shape builder tool. I liked him enough that I wanted to give the image some context, so I produced this brand and website around him.
